Events
This Events page records both the plans made during our Spring “Cruise Planning Meeting,” and the Cruise Reports from each cruise. The planning meeting gives each boat an opportunity to propose a cruise during the season, allows schedules to be coordinated, and resolves any scheduling or destination conflicts.
After each cruise, the Cruise Captains write a report memorializing their cruise, who participated, where they sailed to, and interesting photos. Some cruises planned do not occur for a variety of reasons, but these are often offset by Impromptu Cruises, planned only a few days in advance.
In addition, this page records the “Off the Water” social events held during the season.
Each Spring, after the Cruise Planning Meeting, the contents of this page are moved to the Archives page so that we have a good record of all the activities in the past, and begin a new sailing season with a new Cruise Plan Summary.
